Overview

PostToMarket (“we”, “us”) provides software that helps vehicle sellers post inventory to Facebook Marketplace. This policy describes what we collect on our public website, in our customer dashboard, and through the companion Chrome extension.

Information we collect

  • Contact requests: name, business name, email, phone and message when you submit the demo form.
  • Customer accounts: login credentials managed by our authentication provider, plus profile details such as name, role and dealership association.
  • Inventory data: vehicle fields you upload or capture (VIN, make, model, price, photos, descriptions) and posting outcomes reported by the extension. Spreadsheet uploads are parsed in your browser; we store the imported vehicle rows and an import log (file name, counts, errors), not the original file.
  • Usage and audit logs: import history, posting settings changes, and support impersonation sessions initiated by our staff.

How we use information

We use collected data to operate the service, enforce plan limits, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and communicate about your account. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing

We share data with infrastructure providers that host our database, authentication and email delivery, under contracts that restrict their use to providing services to us. We may disclose information when required by law.

Retention and security

We retain customer data for as long as the account is active and as needed for legal and operational purposes. Access to production systems is restricted and audited. Extension API keys are stored as one-way hashes — the raw key is shown once at creation.

Your choices

Customers may request correction or deletion of account data by contacting info@posttomarket.com. Website visitors in applicable jurisdictions may have additional rights under local privacy laws.
